What songs are best to play at a rave?

Me and a few friends are throwing a mini rave themed party, there is going to be about 40-50 people and its pretty low budget so we cant get a DJ. We were thinking of just mixing a playlist of some awsome songs and leaving them on an ipod. The whole party is going to last 5 hours. So people what should I play and what are your favorite songs to hear at a rave to dance to?

What would you think if one of your oldest friends left your birthday party to go to another party?

I had a big party recently, for a special birthday. Everyone had known about it for ages. One of my oldest friends turned up for about an hour, then left to go to another party. Is that normal?

I am a dj and dj at a lot of clubs and parties, which really gets my girlfriend jealous. She also thinks that I am doing something because of my friends I go with. They all are ladies men and stuff. Even though I get a lot of opportunities to I try not to like dance or flirt with other girls. She comes to some parties with me but like clubs she cant cuz she isn’t 21.

I pass up a lot of opportunities for her, but I dont know if I should keep on doing it. I try to get her into the club but they say since Im under 21 thats already enough, What do you think I should do?

On my Valentine’s dance at school, I was pursuing the girl I like. However, every time I got close to asking her to dance, she would say, “Did you see that girl that got dehydrated?” or, “Want to play DDR?” I couldn’t find her, and asked my friend to tell her I was looking for her if he found her (I was in the bathroom.) Then, as I came out, my friend told me, “I just told her you wanted to dance with her, and she said yes.” I was looking for her, when I ran into my science teacher, Mr. C. He made me and my friend play connect four with him. Then, I found her and she said, “C’mon, let’s dance.” Just as we moved into the gym the DJ said, “Okay everybody, your parents will be here to pick you up any minute now, so get your stuff and say by to your friends.” As everybody piled outside to get picked up, I yelled, “Hey R(name)” She said, “Bye D(name.” I think this is an awkward situation and I need help!
