Gift for the bride question?

okay…my wife to be told me that she’s seriously considering getting a pearl set for her to wear at our wedding…meaning the necklace, two earrings and a bracelet. This happened to be what I was thinking of getting her as a gift. She bought two gold earrings and a gold bracelet in our recent trip overseas, so she’s pretty stocked up with bling. Her buying the pearl set is not set in stone, she said. She may get part or all of it. If she buys it, she wants to be able to use it repeatedly in the future.

I am a songwriter/musician though…I could suprise her on the dance floor. I can write a song about beginning our lives together. I could make arrangements with the DJ to have us be dancing to a particular “special request” at the reception. Since I’ve written multiple songs for her, I can put the songs on a CD and give it to her.

Thoughts anyone? I’ve got mixed reactions from others I’ve asked. Mostly because this wouldn’t be the first song I wrote for her, and that others think jewelry is the best option.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

A Black Jewish Republican??

Yes its true. He’s a morning DJ on a Reading, Pennsylvania, hip-hop radio station.

Can you think of anyother people you’ve heard of that the stereotype just took a giant leap in the opposite direction?
Some people aren’t getting my astonishment… the fact that hes black and a jew is odd, and that he’s black and republican is odd,…. don’t know about jews in politics, whether they go to one side or the other but its not an everyday thing to be all three.

dow jones industrial average?

Hi,

i’m doing some research for my school project, and i need to find data for DJIA from 1996-2007 (i.e. in 1996 DJIA was xxxx, in 1997 was xyxx…). I found only charts without numbers so it is really hard to read.
I’m having hard time to find that information. I’ve tried on following websites:
1. statistical abstract of the united states
2. united states bureau of the census reports
3. economic indicators
4. federal reserve bulletin
and many others, but i don’t know why i can not find DJIA for period from 1996 (or older) - 2007 (or 2006).

The only thing i was able to find was DJ index, but i need DJ industrial average.
Does anybody know some other site or maybe the link for this data?

How old do you have to be to go into Nightlubs in amsterdam?

I know you have to be 16 to drink beer and wine, and 18 for liquers, but how old do you have to be to go into nightclubs where they play the trance music :) thanks
