Shaq + Suns = Championship?
People forget Shaq is a great passer and can really ignite the fastbreak. Shaq is not someone we’re looking for to give us offense. We’re the best scoring team in the league. All Shaq has to do is play solid defense. That’s why we picked him up. TO PLAY DEFENSE.
All Shaq needs to do is go into the hands of the best medical staff in the league, do what they say, and not eat Panda Express 5 times day, and BAM! he’s healthy.
Also, not that Amare can go back to being a PF, his numbers will most likely improve. He doesn’t have to worry about guarding other teams 7 footers, and that outside J he’s got going will be used even more.
So, now that the Suns have a dominant Big Man, can they finally win a Champonship
Spelling error:
not = now
Sorry for the mistake.
Obviously people didn’t read because their still saying he doesn’t fit their offense. Read before you open your mouth.
Shawn only averaged 16 points a game, not 20 buddy.

Well, im not completely sure. But if they did trade earlier, i think they shoulda gotten Garnett… But they didnt make a good enough offer. We’ll have to see though, but he hasnt even been doing well for the heat, what makes you think he’ll be good on the suns?

I seriously like their chances better with Shawn Marion.
shaq has been dominant but he does not fit their fast offense

Yes I believe it. To the guy up there he can do better in Phoenix because he is goin to be around better players.

no, shaq won’t be able to run with the suns and that’s gonna hurt them
October 15th, 2009 at 19:09
We actually won it last year, but couldn’t help that a Western Conference team CHEATS.

suns + shaq = -$60,000,000
not championship

I get your pt but I still don’t like the deal. SHAQ doesn’t fit however he does help in one area. SHAQ will be big in covering Top Centers Tim Duncan and Andrew Bynum come playoff time.

I’ve been a Suns fan long before I ever moved to Phoenix. I **** this move….HATE IT!! So if we win a Championship do we owe it all to the big tard? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yea
I think that the Suns now have what it takes to win
October 30th, 2009 at 15:56
haha its just no. *He does not fit their offense.* You need to look at what you lost! What good does it do losing those 20 points and 10 boards do you? NOTHING. And now whos going to play the amazing defense Marion plays? NOBODY. Unless Shaq puts up 20 points a game that was a terrible trade. He is too slow. All the other team has to do is run the ball up the court and get the game moving fast. He’ll then get tired and then they’ll have to take him out of the game because the other team is getting easy low pust buckets.

the team that has defense will win the championship; with marion we had a great offense and good defense but not good enough to defend big guys, now that we have shaq i think that we have what it takes to beat the strong teams sacrificing what marion did but with a lot more defense from “the diesel”,,,, plus did u saw the game against the hornets on wednesday´s night, we almost won that game and without marion we had alot of offense from nash, barbosa, amaré and diaw; with games like these it is very important that diaw has that kind of performance, if he can continue playing like that and with strong performances by hill and barbosa we are gonna equal or have more offense than what we had with marion plus the points that shaq mades.
I see Amare getting a major push into his stats..

I still think its not good for them…but only time will tell
